“Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.”

Brene Brown

You have probably heard that conflict is normal in romantic relationships . And yes, it is very true. However, when conflicts are managed poorly, they can result in hurt feelings, sensitivities and even traumas.

It is very important to communicate effectively and restore the balance in relationship after the conflict. In therapy, you and your partner can learn and practice essential skills, which will help resolve current disagreements and prevent hurt feelings in the future.

If, over the course of your relationship, you’ve accumulated resentment and hurt, and other stressors, such as work and parenting are getting in a way of reconnecting, couples therapy can be a place to heal old wounds and rediscover each other.

When I work with couples, I utilize the most researched approaches such as Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused therapy. I tailor interventions to specific needs of your relationship.
